The Apple Store Album
Over the course of the next few weeks, I am filming Mr. Carter Davis as he walks into Apple Stores across
the country and record an album.
Mr. Carter Davis pitched the idea of his highly irregular concept album and I know immediately there was a story there. In a time when many musicians think they will be discovered by simply playing a few shows and shooting out some tweet, Mr. Carter Davis wanted to think differently and do something to stand out, so why not record an album in a place that has empowered and inspired many an artist, like Apple Stores?
Along with recording tracks in Dallas, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Minneapolis, New York, Chicago and Nashville, we he will be taking every opportunity he can to connect with fellow musicians while he enjoys
the great American road trip. As each track is recorded, he will be uploading immediately after recording,
for a limited time, prior to returning to the studio and polishing each track for the album release. These
